I have a few things to update here.
First, is the Book of the Month for December. Shame on me for not getting this posted sooner. Especially because this is one of my top three books I have ever read (excluding Scripture of course). Knowing God by J.I. Packer is worth it's weight in fine gold. His understanding and clarity on this topic is second to none. I can remember sitting in the Denver Airport and worshiping after reading the chapter on election.
Second, is that we are getting Trinity Hymnals this week. This is a joy because we have been praying for them sense we began worshiping together a year and a half ago. We will use them (Lord Willing) for the first time at our Christmas Eve service at the Lemos' House.
Third, Join us for our Christmas Eve service. For more info call the church. The number is on the main page.
Fourth, our Annual Members meeting is the last Sunday of January. If there is any issue that needs to be brought up before the congregation you need to speak to me in the next three weeks. On the table so far: the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith to be adopted officially therefore making us fully confessional, the choice to support a new ministry Alpha and Omega Ministries, giving out tithing records, voting on keeping the board the way it is or making changes. I think that that is all, but if there is any other issues or any questions about any of these issues contact me straight away.
Finally, a warm welcome to our new members: Keven and Angela Lemos, Larry Coleman, Rachel Sinclair (soon to be Gumpy) We love you and appreciate the great privilege of worshiping with you!
